This training course in “Innovative Teaching Methods in Social Cognitive, Psychomotor Field” AIMS to develop in teachers professional competences. A teacher of Social Studies cognitive and psychomotor has to be abreast of the innovations in teaching methods. In order to be effective, a teacher of Social Cognitive and psychomotor studies has to be a source of information, and a guide, an organizer of opportunities for learning and a person who can stimulate any environment for effective learning using the Following teaching modes, among others, available cognitive and psychomotor to Social Studies teachers. This course includes practical lessons, field works, thinking tools, cultural visits, technical visits, meetings with experts. Many practical tools and materials for Both trainers and trainees will be supplied and at the end certificates will be delivered, as requested in Erasmus Plus Programme.

Objectives                                

• To give participants an adequate grounding in “Innovative Teaching Methods in Social Cognitive and Psychomotor Field”;
• To understand basically child psychology and child development;
• Learn to develop in the student’s mind problem-solving abilities;
• Which behaviours to adopt in the classroom, in order That children adopt good social practices;
• To stimulate moral and ethical education;
• To learn how psychomotor skills are developed;
• How to support learning at each psychomotor developmental stages;

Methodology:   In the framework of Erasmus Programme Plus, we are going to develop our courses based in Both formal and informal education methodologies. We’ll start with an introduction of the new methodology And Also with a theoretical approach. In order to stimulate the active participation of them we will use dynamic activities, like: study cases, conferences with responsible staff of enterprises; discussions in the classroom with directors of private institutes; role-plays; guidelines, technical visits to the laboratories and schools.

Programme 

1^st Day: Transfer from the airport to accommodation and room allocation. Welcome Meeting. Rules applicable in Italy, information about the city and general information about the Programme. Lesson : Managing participant’s expectations about the “innovative teaching methods in social, cognitive and psychomotor fields” course.

2^nd Day: Flesson: Specific Lesson with experts about “Child Development: The Early Years, Childcare, Health & Nutrition”. Human Tendencies, Sensitive Periods and the Brain.

3rd Day: Lesson : Presentation of the Italian educational system. Detailed study about the development of Social Cognitive Method. Some specific cases in Italy, video conference with expert educators.

4^th Day: Lesson : An introduction to Child Psychology and Child Development with a psychologist.

5^th Day:  Lesson :  Theoretical Lesson about History of Social Cognitive Method – Albert Bandura and Major Early Childhood Theorists. Two hours internship under the direction and guidance of an experienced teacher with whom-the participant Observes, assists and joins in all aspects of the educational process and management in the host school.

6^th Day:7^th Day:  Free time and cultural activities.

8^th Day: Lesson: Detailed study of the development of Social Cognitive Method. Exercitation on teaching practices.

9^th Day: Full Day of technical and schools visits. Meeting with the directors of some schools where is active the Social Cognitive Method. Question Time with students and staff. Meeting with some assistant teachers who work with children with psychomotor problems.

10^th Day: Theoretical Lesson about psychomotor methods, with a conference of Therapist Neuro and psychomotor of developmental age, which carries out habilitation, rehabilitation and prevention against developmental disabilities.

11^th Day: Lesson: Visit to a rehabilitation center for disabled children, psychomotor demonstration of the various methods used with children. General information, visit to the laboratories of the clinic, meeting with the representative of the clinic.

12^th Day: Lesson, evaluation of the Training Course. Certificate Ceremony and overall evaluation meeting with the host organization and the beneficiaries.

13^th Day: Free time and cultural activities.departure.
