Description of the course:

The educational offer for this course is articulated in some fundamental theoretical skills (psychiatry, psychology, sociology, etc.). The Training Course under the Erasmus Programme Plus Allows participants to understand the development of Burnout Syndrome, its causes and the effects of all treatments. The promoter of the course will organize seminars, field works, thinking tools, cultural visits, technical visits, conferences with experts. Also the participants will receive the didactic material needed and certificates as requested in the Erasmus Plus Programme.

Objectives:

  • To encourage the recognition and management of the Burnout Syndrome.
  • To understand the main causes of the syndrome.
  • To promote the creation of heterogeneous solutions in Europe.
  • To promote better management of human resources.

Methodology: In the framework of Erasmus Programme Plus, we are going to develop our courses based in both formal and informal education methodologies. We’ll try to develop the active participation of all participants Involved. In order to stimulate the active participation of them we will use dynamic activities, like:

  • Meetings with responsible staff of enterprises;
  • Discussions in the classroom with directors of private institutes;
  • Direct lessons;
  • Technical visits in private companies for job shadowing and workshops.

1st Day: Meeting of participants and tutors, transport to accommodation and room allocation. Welcome Day – Managing pupils’ expectations about the burnout syndrome training course.

2nd Day: First lesson: Studying the steps of burnout syndrome and its principal causes. Lesson : Some specific cases in Italy, video conference with Psychologists, who will explain participants what are the principal’s motivations of burnout syndrome.

3rd Day:  lesson: Specific Course about the education system in Italy with specialized expert’s in burnout syndrome. What is the central civil service of burnout syndrome? Why do people suffer this? How to prevent?

4th Day: lesson: Course on Conflict Resolution skills by identifying shared goals to overcome the issue. Specific Course to explain the main features of burnout syndrome. Examination of the burnout syndrome in the service sector. Visiting members to get opinions on work-related institution.

5th Day: lesson: Productive structure of the profession of telephonist, office layout, office placement and the roles to junior and senior relationship. What are the security measures? That should be taken in this profession? The effects of Syndrome in the family and how to help the family to discover the effects and to prevent them. How to help who has the syndrome.

6th & 7th Days: Free time and cultural trips.

8th Day:  lesson: The effects of Syndrome in the family and how to help the family to discover the effects and to prevent them. How to help who has the syndrome.

9th Day:  lesson: How to manage emotional exhaustion, work overload, sense of helplessness, lack of control, recognition, sense of community, absence of equity, conflicting values.

10th Day:  lesson:Day in the hospital, practicing time with doctors. Conference with specialists who will teach how to use the scale of Maslach and the others methods.

11th Day: Lesson Learning how to built the burnout syndrome in the classroom and in the course curricula. Coaching competences in triads, reflection and feedback. Dilt’s pyramid of neuro-logical levels.

12th Day: Lesson and Practice with Dilt’s pyramid.it. Final report, final discussion about the results of the project. Certificate ceremony and preparations for leaving.
